Reclaim Democracy for the People!

The Problem

On January 21, 2010, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that corporations are entitled to spend unlimited funds in our elections.

The First Amendment was never intended to protect corporations.

This cannot stand. Free speech is for people, not corporations. We must act now.

The Solution

To restore the First Amendment to its original purpose, we need to enact a constitutional amendment that puts people ahead of corporations. Learn More » Sign the Resolution » Get Involved »

The Plan

We seek to restore the First Amendment to its original purpose: to protect the free speech rights of people. We’ll achieve this by:

  1. Raising public awareness of corporate misuse of the First Amendment
  2. Mobilizing grassroots support for reclaiming the First Amendment
  3. Creating a legal environment where courts return to the First's intended purpose
  4. Amending the Constitution to make clear that free speech rights are for people, not corporations
